Mr Donald Bramwell

Donald Bramwell has qualifications and extensive experience in science, mathematics, engineering, teaching, communication, education and management. Current areas of research include investigations into clinical reasoning, clinical education and competency-based approaches to surgical training. Donald has experience in diverse issues surrounding teaching and learning, specifically with regard to the role of teachers in educational change. He has lectured and researched in education for the past ten years, including a focus on assessment and the evaluation of learning initiatives, science and mathematics education, and teaching and learning in early childhood and primary years.

I have experience in developing and evaluating a range of teaching and mentoring programs for professionals, based on ensuring that the practitioners can see clear links between their current practice and what they are being taught.

Having been involved in planning, delivering and evaluating professional development programs, I am keenly aware of the need to focus on allowing practitioners to sustain, and continue to develop, any new knowledge and skills beyond any particular workshops, seminars, meetings or discussions.
